Burnt Store Road

Welcome

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District One, began a Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study to widen the segment of Burnt Store Road between Van Buren Parkway and the Charlotte County Line in Lee County. The study will evaluate alternatives to widen the existing two-lane undivided roadway to a four-lane divided road, a length of approximately 5.5 miles. The study also includes evaluation of bridge improvement options over Gator Slough Canal.
