Welcome

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District One is widening Interstate 75 (I-75) to six lanes from south of N. Jones Loop Road (exit 161) to US 17 (exit 164) in Charlotte County. With the completion of this project, I-75 will be six lanes through the state of Florida from Alligator Alley to the Florida/Georgia state line.

Improvements include building an additional travel lane in each direction, widening the bridges over N. Jones Loop Road and Marion Avenue/Riverside Drive/Seminole Gulf Railway, and completing roadway safety improvements and bridge work under I-75 on N. Jones Loop Road, US 17, and Marion Avenue/Riverside Drive.
