This project is designed to improve drainage and safety along US 92 from the Polk Parkway to Berkley Road. work began on April 18, 2022 and is expected to be completed by the fall of 2022. Most work will be completed between  7 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.  Improvements include:

• adding eastbound and westbound left turn lanes at Howard Road
• adding westbound directional median opening and left turn lane into Lowe's parking lot
• installing new drainage structures and ditch bottom pavement
• removing an unused driveway at the flea market
• removing pavement at the access road to the pond between the flea market and Polk Parkway entrance
• regrading roadway shoulders and some roadway ditches
