About

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is conducting a Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study for I-75 at SR 681 interchange in Sarasota County, to consider the conversion of the interchange at SR 681 from a partial to a full interchange and the addition of auxiliary lanes from SR 681 to the Clark Road interchange with I-75.

The approximate projects limits on I-75 are from south of SR 681 to south of Clark Road (M.P. 27.874 to M.P. 34.11), a distance of 6.24 miles, plus an additional 1.5 miles on SR 681 from west of the interchange to Lorraine Road. The proposed improvements will improve mobility and accommodate travel demand generated by approved development in the project area.
