Welcome

Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is designing improvements along SR 684 (Cortez Road) from 26th Street West to 14th Street West (US 41) in Bradenton. Project improvements include median modifications, adding mid-block pedestrian crossings, resurfacing the roadway, and modifying median openings, turn lanes and driveways. The proposed project also includes installing new signage and updating pavement markings.

Project Update

A public hearing will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2020, at Peace Lutheran Church, 1611 30th Avenue W, Bradenton, Florida 34205 at 5 p.m. The first half of the hearing will be an open house format. Attendees can arrive anytime between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. to meet with the project team and ask questions. The second half of the hearing will consist of a formal presentation at 6 p.m. with time for public comments and questions afterwards. Project information will be on display throughout the hearing.
