Public Involvement

How Do I Get Involved?

In the very early stages of the design phase, you have an opportunity to be involved and provide comments that can affect the way improvements to State Road 80 will be built. Early involvement is essential. When the design phase moves past Phase I changes are extremely difficult to incorporate. FDOT, of course, will continue to inform people about the project throughout the remainder of the design phase.

There are several ways to become involved. You can use this website and complete the comment form below. You also can attend public meetings during the design phase (announced on this website) and discuss improvements with the project team. Conversations with FDOT’s project manager are another opportunity to contribute ideas about the project. (please see the Project contact page).

Project newsletters mailed to public officials and property owners near the roadway (and to anyone who would like to be added to the project mailing list) will update people about design plans. The newsletters also will announce upcoming public meeting dates and locations.

Comments:

Please complete the form below to be added to the project mailing list and receive newsletters.  You also have the option to provide a comment or ask questions.
Under Florida law, e-mail addresses are public records. If you do not want your e-mail address released in response to a public records request, do not send electronic mail to this entity. Instead, contact this office by phone or in writing.
