Project Description

The Florida Department of Transportation’s (FDOT) contractor, V&H Construction, began work in August, 2021 to add a 10-foot-wide asphalt shared use path on the northside of SR 80 (Palm Beach Boulevard) from Shoreland Drive to Old Olga Road/ Buckingham Road. An eight-foot-wide sidewalk will be constructed on the southside of SR 80 from Orange River Boulevard to Verandah Boulevard, from Parker Avenue to Upcohall Avenue and Weber Boulevard to Loring Way, tying existing sidewalk together. The construction team is coordinating with emergency and municipal services. During construction, the contractor will maintain public services such as mail delivery, garbage/recycle and bus services. Police/Fire and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) will be notified of construction activities.
