The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District One, is doing an operational analysis study for a 3.1-mile segment of State Road (SR) 865 (San Carlos Boulevard) from south of Estero Boulevard to County Road (CR) 869 (Summerlin Road) in Lee County.  The FDOT is conducting this operational analysis study to determine locations and types of operational deficiencies that exist along the project corridor so that specific improvement alternatives can be developed and evaluated through the Project Development and Environment (PD&E) study process.

FDOT is in the process of developing roadway improvement alternatives, environmental assessments and cost estimates that were presented at a public meeting on Tuesday, February 27, 2018. Please visit the Public Involvement page for more information regarding the public meeting.
