Welcome

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District One, began an operational analysis study for a 3.1-mile segment of State Road (SR) 865 (San Carlos Boulevard) from south of Estero Boulevard to County Road (CR) 869 (Summerlin Road), Lee County in May 2015.  The FDOT conducted this operational analysis study to determine locations and types of operational deficiencies that exist along the project corridor so that specific improvement alternatives could be developed and implemented.

FDOT developed roadway improvement alternatives, environmental assessments and cost estimates that were presented at a public meeting on Tuesday, February 27, 2018. Please visit the Documents & Publications page for all materials presented at the public meeting, as well as the completed study documents (under the 'Project Documents' section).

This operational analysis study was completed in Fall 2018. The final study documents can be found here (under the 'Project Documents' section).
