The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District One has completed a Project Development and Environment (PD&E) study of a 0.76 mile segment of State Road (SR) 951 from south of Manatee Road to north of Tower Road in Collier County. The project limits are shown on the location map below. The study evaluated widening the four-lane divided road to a six-lane divided road to handle future expected traffic.

The study began in February 2015 and was completed in February 2018. FDOT developed roadway widening alternatives, environmental assessments and cost estimates that were presented at a June 15, 2017 public hearing.

Click on the various pages of this website for information about the PD&E study process, the project schedule and information on how to contact FDOT’s project manager.
