Public Workshop

FDOT held an alternatives public workshop for the Old Dixie Trail Project Development & Environment (PD&E) Study. FDOT offered two ways for the public to participate in the alternatives workshop. The virtual public workshop was held on September 16, 2021 and the in-person public workshop was held in the Lake Alfred Lions Club at 175 N. Nekoma Avenue, Lake Alfred on September 23, 2021. The workshop provided the opportunity for the public to offer feedback on the proposed alternatives for the official workshop record through October 7, 2021. Upon completion of the alternatives workshop, a summary of comments, feedback and frequently asked questions was created to share with stakeholder groups throughout the study area. All workshop materials can be found within the Public Workshop page for view or download.

Project Survey

The MetroQuest survey is now closed. While comments about the project are accepted at any time, please note that workshop comments postmarked by October 7, 2021, were included in the workshop comment summary report. Your continued participation is an important part of the next phase in the PD&E process.
