Project Development & Environment (PD&E) Study
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District One began a Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study in February 2017 to evaluate improvements at the intersections of US 41 at Dr. Martin Luther King (MLK) Jr. Way and Myrtle Street and develop context based bicycle/pedestrian facilities along US 41 from Dr. MLK Jr. Way to Myrtle Street in the City of Sarasota. This website contains information on the PD&E study process, the project schedule, public involvement opportunities and information on how to contact members of the study team.
