US 41 at Dr. MLK Jr. Way and Myrtle Street
Project Development & Environment (PD&E) Study
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District One began a Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study in February 2017 to evaluate improvements at the intersections of US 41 at Dr. Martin Luther King (MLK) Jr. Way and Myrtle Street and develop context based bicycle/pedestrian facilities along US 41 from Dr. MLK Jr. Way to Myrtle Street in the City of Sarasota.
FDOT has scheduled a Public Hearing from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, August 15, 2019 at The Robert L. Taylor Community Complex at 1845 John Rivers (34th) Street, Sarasota, FL 34234. The hearing will begin with an open house at 5 p.m. and follow with a formal presentation and public comment period at 6 p.m. People attending the hearing may review projects displays and aerial photographs, and speak one-on-one with project team members about proposed improvements to the study corridor.
