The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) maintains one of the country’s largest roadway networks. In 2023, FDOT Secretary Jared Perdue introduced The FDOT Compass as guiding principles to serve our communities. This focus will allow FDOT’s leadership team to stay focused on enhancing safety, increasing capacity, improving our supply chain for the state’s economic vitality, using innovative technology and techniques to stay at the forefront of transportation, and cultivating the workforce to accomplish our goals.
