The State Road (SR) 31 Extension Alternative Corridor Evaluation (ACE) Feasibility Study will identify the need for an extension of SR 31 from south of SR 70 to US Highway 17 (US 17) and evaluate the potential effects of a new alignment. If the project is determined to be feasible, this phase will be followed by the second phase, Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study which will determine the best alignment for the new roadway. The total project length is approximately 5 miles. The study corridor is located near Arcadia within central DeSoto County.
