FDOT Hosts a Pre-Construction Information Session for Interchange Improvements at I-75/State Road 951 (Collier Boulevard) in Collier County Tuesday, March 7, 2023 from 5 – 6 p.m.

Bartow, Fla. –  The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District One, will host a Pre-Construction Information Session for the interchange improvements at I-75/ State Road (SR) 951 (Collier Boulevard) in Collier County.
The Information Session will be held as an “open house” from 5 - 6 p.m. on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at New Hope Ministries, 7675 Davis Boulevard, Naples, FL 34104.

This improvement project enhances access to I-75, as well as improves overall safety, increases capacity and facilitates emergency evacuation within the County. In addition, the improvements will help serve travel demands created by anticipated countywide population and employment growth. The proposed improvements for the interchange include reconstruction of the I-75 southbound on- and off-ramp connections and the northbound on-ramp connection to the mainline lanes. The northeast quadrant loop ramp will be connected to, and accessible only by, a direct flyover ramp from northbound Collier Boulevard with a starting point south of the Davis Boulevard intersection. This single-lane flyover ramp will carry traffic over Beck Boulevard and a reconstructed I-75 southbound on-ramp. A single-lane flyover ramp extension will carry I-75 southbound traffic over Davis Boulevard to a new signalized intersection at Collier Boulevard and Business Circle North. This ramp will extend along the western side of Collier Boulevard.
