U.S. 27 (S.R. 25) at S.R. 78 Intersection: Construction project: Crews will be reconstructing the intersection with concrete pavement. Other improvements include milling, resurfacing, drainage, guardrail, signing, and pavement markings. Please use caution in the area and watch for workers, traffic signage, detours, and equipment throughout the project.

• S.R. 78 began October 7, 2025. S.R. 78 traffic followed posted detour signs and temporary pavement along the south side of S.R. 78. Local traffic needing to access Glades Business Park followed posted detour signs and accessed Industrial Drive from U.S. 27. Northbound U.S. 27 traffic followed the new traffic pattern along the newly constructed northbound roadway.
• U.S. 27 lane impacts: Intermittent Lane closures on U.S. 27 will take place for curb installation, sodding, and roadway widening beginning October 27, 2025, through November 25, 2025. At least one lane in each direction will always remain open to traffic.
•  Motorists should use caution, follow posted signage, and watch for workers and equipment in the area
