U.S. 27 (S.R. 25) at S.R. 78 Intersection: Construction project: Crews will be reconstructing the intersection with concrete pavement. Other improvements include milling, resurfacing, drainage, guardrail, signing, and pavement markings. Please use caution in the area and watch for workers, traffic signage, detours, and equipment throughout the project.

• Both S.R. 78 and U.S. 27 have reopened, and traffic is now operating normally.
• Intermittent lane closures will occur on S.R. 78 and U.S. 27 from Jan. 5 through Jan. 28, 2026, to accommodate concrete grinding and moving thermoplastic operations.  
• Intermittent lane closures will also occur at the eastbound U.S. 27 left-turn lane to Industrial Drive and along Industrial Drive between U.S. 27 and the Glades Business Park entrance from Jan. 5 through Jan. 16, 2026, to adjust manhole grades and repave friction course. Traffic needing to access Industrial Drive will be directed to use the entrance from S.R. 78
• Motorists should use caution, follow posted signage, and watch for workers and equipment in the area.
