• I-75 at S.R. 951 (exit 101) Interchange Improvements: FDOT is reconstructing the I-75 southbound on- and off-ramp connections and the northbound on-ramp connection to the mainline lanes at S.R. 951 (exit 101). The northeast quadrant loop ramp will be connected to, and accessible only by, a direct flyover ramp from northbound Collier Boulevard starting south of the Davis Boulevard intersection. This single-lane flyover ramp will carry traffic over Beck Boulevard and a reconstructed I-75 southbound on-ramp. A single-lane flyover ramp extension will carry I-75 southbound traffic over Davis Boulevard to a new signalized intersection at Collier Boulevard and Business Circle North. This ramp will extend along the western side of Collier Boulevard. 

   

  The following activities are subject to change based on weather conditions and unforeseen underground conditions. 

   

  • During the nighttime/overnight hours of 8 p.m. on Sunday, October 25 through 6 a.m., on Monday, October 26, motorists should expect northbound C.R. 951/Collier Boulevard to be fully closed from Business Circle South to Davis Boulevard for crews to shift the northbound lanes. Motorists traveling northbound on C.R.951/Collier Boulevard must use Business Circle South to Market Street to S.R. 84/Davis Boulevard to continue north on C.R.951/Collier Boulevard. 

   

  • Continuing during the nighttime/overnight hours from 8 p.m. through 6 a.m., excluding Friday and Saturday nights, motorists should expect the I-75 southbound on ramp from northbound S.R. 951 (Collier Boulveard) closed for paving. To reach I-75 southbound, motorists traveling north on S.R. 951/Collier Boulevard must do a U-turn to return south and use the new I-75 southbound on ramp for southbound S.R. 951/Collier Boulevard traffic. These nighttime closures are expected to continue for the coming weeks for ongoing paving operations. 

   

  • Motorists should expect nighttime lane closures on both I-75 northbound and I-75 southbound over S.R. 951/Collier Boulevard for road widening and paving. 

   

  • The new southbound I-75 on ramp is open.  Motorists traveling southbound on CR 951/Collier Boulevard to southbound I-75 will now keep right to use the new loop ramp to access southbound I-75. A left turn is no longer accessible.  Motorists traveling northbound on CR 951/Collier Boulevard will continue to stay right to use the ramp to reach southbound I-75. 

   

  • Motorists should expect intermittent daytime and nighttime lane closures for both southbound and northbound C.R. 951/Collier for crews to pour concrete, install temporary barrier wall, move equipment, deliver materials, and construct the overhead bridge work.  

   

  • Motorists should expect the outside right turn lane from southbound S.R. 951 to westbound S.R. 84/Davis Boulevard closed.  Drivers can continue to turn right from the remaining open turn lane.  This closure is needed for crews to begin work for the bridge foundation installation and will remain in place through job completion. 

   

  • Pedestrians should expect a sidewalk closure along S.R. 84 (Davis Boulevard) just west of S.R. 951 (Collier Boulevard) and along S.R. 951 (Collier Boulevard) between S.R. 84 (Davis Boulevard) and Business Circle North. Pedestrians may use S.R. 84 (Davis Boulevard) to Market Street to Business Circle South to access S.R. 951 (Collier Boulevard). 

   

  • Motorists are advised that the S.R. 84 (Davis Boulevard) eastbound direct access ramp heading south to S.R. 951 (Collier Boulevard) is permanently closed. The eastbound to southbound right turn will be available at the intersection. 

   

  • Motorists should expect reduced lane widths for southbound Collier Boulevard between Business Circle North and Business Circle South.

• I-75 at Pine Ridge Road (exit 107) Interchange Improvements: FDOT is reconstructing the I-75 at Pine Ridge Road interchange. The interchange improvements include reconstruction of the Pine Ridge Road Interchange converting to a Diverging Diamond Interchange (DDI) design, reconstruction of the interchange on and off ramps, construction of pedestrian and bicycle accommodations through the interchange, installation of new signals at the ramps, and resurfacing of Pine Ridge Road through the project area. 

   

  The following activities are subject to change based on weather conditions and unforeseen underground conditions. 

   

  • On Thursday, October 29, during the nighttime/overnight hours of 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., motorists should anticipate a full closure of the southbound I-75 off-ramp for crews to install overhead structures and sign. Motorists are advised to use extra caution and follow the posted detour routes or find alternative routes. 

    

  • From Friday, October 30 at 11 p.m. to Sunday, November 1 at 6 a.m. there will be a full closure of eastbound and westbound Pine Ridge Road under I-75 for motorists, pedestrians, and cyclists while crews install overhead structures and signage.   

    • The following movements will be closed:   

      • Eastbound and westbound Pine Ridge Road, under I-75    

      • Left turn from northbound I-75 off-ramp to westbound Pine Ridge Road   

      • Left turn from southbound I-75 off-ramp to eastbound Pine Ridge Road   

    • During this closure, motorists should follow posted detour routes. For southbound I-75 to eastbound Pine Ridge Road, motorists may exit at Immokalee Road (Exit 111) eastbound to southbound Logan Boulevard, then return to Pine Ridge Road. For northbound I-75 to westbound Pine Ridge Road, motorists may exit at Golden Gate Parkway (Exit 105) westbound to northbound Livingston Road, then return to Pine Ridge Road. I-75 will remain open in both directions over Pine Ridge Road.   

    • Motorists traveling east on Pine Ridge Road may enter southbound I-75, exit at Golden Gate Parkway, enter northbound I-75, and exit onto eastbound Pine Ridge Road. Motorists traveling west on Pine Ridge Road may enter northbound I-75, exit at Immokalee Road, enter southbound I-75, and exit onto westbound Pine Ridge Road.    

    • Please follow the posted detour signs or identify alternate routes and exercise caution through the detour area and anticipate delays. 

   

  • Crews will be working on permanent signalization, signal timing optimization, sign placement, wrong way vehicle detection systems, and sod placement. 

   

  • When necessary, motorists should anticipate lane closures on Pine Ridge Road during the nighttime/overnight hours of 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., and ramp closures from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Please use extra caution when driving through this area and expect delays.    

   

  • Crews will be working on clearing and grubbing and installing erosion control throughout the project area.

• S.R. 29 from south of I-75 to north of Bridge #030298: Construction project: This project delivers roadway improvements along State Road 29 from south of I-75 to north of Bridge #030298 in Collier County. The work focuses on the milling and resurfacing of the roadway. Additionally, there will be upgrades to the pavement markings.

  • Motorists can expect daytime and nighttime/overnight lane closures throughout the project.
  • Motorists should expect to encounter daytime and nighttime lane closures on State Road 29.
    • S.R. 29 lane closures will frequently be accompanied by flagging operations and law enforcement presence.
  • Motorists should expect to encounter nighttime ramp closures when entering/exiting I-75 throughout the course of the project.
    • I-75 ramp closures will be accompanied by law enforcement presence and an associated detour.
  • Motorists can expect to encounter crews paving the shoulders and gore areas beginning Thursday, October 15, 2026. This will be accompanied by a flagging operation.

View project: SR 82 from Hendry County Line to Gator Slough Lane

• SR 82 from the Hendry County Line to Gator Slough Lane: Construction Project: Motorists should expect intermittent eastbound and westbound lane closures during the daytime and nighttime/overnight hours throughout the duration of the project.

  Work consists of bridge construction, adding lanes and reconstruction, milling and resurfacing, drainage, grass median, sidewalk, guardrail, shared-use path, detention ponds excavation, signalization, lighting, and signing and pavement markings. 

  • ·        Motorists should anticipate lane closures with flagging operations on S.R. 82 and Corkscrew Road for crews to begin paving efforts. FHP will be on site to support these operations.

     

    ·        Motorists can expect a traffic switch transition to a single eastbound travel lane, which will extend towards the west end of the project.

     

    ·        A new traffic pattern is in place at the east end of the project, shifting eastbound and westbound traffic onto the newly constructed roadway over the added wildlife crossing. This shift marks Phase 2 of the project.

     

    ·        A new traffic pattern is in place at the west end of the project, shifting the eastbound travel lane to the newly constructed pavement done in Phase 1 of the project.

     

    ·        Crews will be performing roadway widening, subgrade, and base construction at the west end of the project on the right side of the roadway.

     

    ·        Crews will be performing roadway widening, including clearing and grubbing, excavations, drainage installation, subgrade and base construction on the eastbound right side of the roadway.

     

    ·        Crews will be performing earthwork activities at the west end of the project, including the shared path between Collier County and Hendry County.

     

    ·        Crews will be installing and placing structural concrete for Bridge #030330 and #030329 Traffic railing outside the clear zone on the right side of the roadway.

     

    ·        Crews will be cutting off piles and installing formwork for Bridge #030328 and #030327 outside the clear zone on the right side of the roadway.

     

    ·        Frequent and brief flagging operations are taking place throughout the day to assist trucks safely crossing the road within project limits.

    ·        The traffic switch east and west of Corkscrew Road on SR 82, as well as the activation of the traffic signal at Corkscrew Road, are pending resolution of the signal cabinet foundation issue.

     

    ·        The current work schedule is subject to change due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

    ·        Motorists should use caution and be aware of construction vehicles entering and exiting the roadway throughout the duration of the project. The estimated completion date is spring 2027.
