City of Bartow crews are continuing utility relocation work on Lyle Parkway west of U.S. 98. As a result, Lyle Parkway remains closed at U.S. 98 while this work is underway. In addition, Lyle Parkway east of U.S. 98 may be reduced to one lane, with flaggers directing traffic as crews begin work in this area.
Crews will be closing lanes on U.S. 98 at the Lyle Parkway intersection to begin widening the side street entrances.
Motorists are advised to use caution, watch for flaggers directing traffic and follow posted detour signs.

This week workers will continue installing new water mains, lighting elements, grading side streets, pouring driveways and sidewalks, and placing sod along the east side of Lakeland Hills Boulevard during the day.
- Paving is scheduled to continue for the new northbound lanes. Watch for nighttime/overnight flagging operations between 7 p.m. and 6:30 a.m.
- Watch for side street closures along the east side of Lakeland Hills Boulevard as roadway crews work to grade and finish subgrade in preparation for paving the side streets. Any side street closures will utilize the adjacent side streets to route traffic east towards Gilmore Avenue to the respective closed street.
- Traffic will remain in one lane in each direction for most of the duration of construction. Use caution, be prepared to merge or stop, and plan for delays.
- The speed limit has been reduced to 35 mph during construction.

Expect nighttime/overnight lane and shoulder closures Sunday through Thursday nights as crews continue milling and paving the travel lanes, mill the shoulders, prep for sod and start milling and paving the crossovers, turn lanes and turnouts. Use caution and watch for workers close to the road.

Expect nighttime/overnight lane closures Sunday through Friday nights as crews continue milling and resurfacing and working on concrete ramps, weather permitting. Watch for possible daytime lane closures in Eagle Lake for permit work. Use caution and be prepared to merge.

This week crews will be working at the Kathleen Road Ramps.
Expect westbound I-4 on-ramp closure at Kathleen Road (Exit 31) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday for removal of materials. Motorists wanting to enter I-4 westbound should continue northbound on Kathleen Road past the closed ramp. Turn east on Griffin Road to U.S. 98, head north on U.S. 98 and follow it to the I-4 westbound on-ramp at U.S. 98 (Exit 32). Use caution and add time to your schedule to reach your destination.

Expect daily lane closures for paving and sign installation. Use caution and be prepared to merge.
