This week crews will continue earthwork, drainage, and bridge superstructure elements. Countyline Road remains closed at the Peace River. Motorists should follow the posted detours.

• Eastbound: Head north or south on US 17 to Hardee Street and east on Hardee Street to Lake Branch Road. Head southeast on Lake Branch Road to Platt Road and head north back to County Line Road.
• Westbound: Head east or west on County Line Road to Platt Road. Head south on Platt Road to Lake Branch Road and head west to Hardee Street. Turn left (west) on Hardee Street to US 17. Turn right (north) on US 17 back to County Line Road.

Week of Sunday, May 11 through Saturday, May 17:

Crews will be working on final lighting, milling, resurfacing of remaining driveways, cross streets and mainline, installing fencing and sod and rehabilitation of the historic bridge rail.  

• Expect intermittent lane closures throughout the project from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Monday, May 12, through Friday, May 16. Use caution and be prepared to merge or stop.
• Temporary side street closures should be expected this week as crews pave at the intersections. Follow the temporary detours using alternate side streets.

This week the contractor will work on sidewalk and driveway construction during the day. Expect shoulder closures and watch for workers close to the road.

Week of Sunday, May 11 through Saturday, May 17:

• The right-turn slip lane from Pyramid Parkway onto northbound US 98 will remain closed while crews install new curb, sidewalk and pave. During the closure, motorists will still be able to turn right, left or continue straight from Pyramid Parkway.
• Expect nighttime/overnight lane closures both north and southbound as pipe crews install new drainage, work on drilled shafts, and relocate barrier wall.

This week crews are working on drainage, taking delivery of materials and watering sod. The temporary barrier wall has been removed.  Expect periodic shoulder closures and watch for workers close to the road.  

**TRAFFIC ALERT**

Lee Jackson Highway/North 12th Avenue, from Summit Avenue to Citrus Avenue in Haines City, is reduced to one lane with flaggers directing traffic tonight and into tomorrow until crews can get asphalt to make repairs that developed due to the heavy rains. The potholes are in the temporary asphalt that was placed to shift traffic away from the current work area. Crews will be on site tomorrow, Tuesday, May 13, to make repairs to the roadway and open it back to two lanes. Motorists are advised to use caution and be prepared to stop.

Week of Sunday, May 11 through Saturday, May 17:

This week workers will continue installing drainage and water lines along the east side of Lakeland Hills Boulevard.

• Traffic remains in one lane in each direction but is now shifted to the west side of Lakeland Hills Boulevard so crews can continue underground drainage and utility work.
• Please watch for side street closures along the east side of Lakeland Hills Boulevard as crews work to install new storm drain and water lines. Any side street closures will utilize the adjacent side streets to route traffic east towards Gilmore Avenue to the respective closed street.
• Traffic will remain in one lane in each direction for most of the duration of construction.
• The speed limit has been reduced to 35 mph during construction.
• Use caution, be prepared to merge or stop, and plan for delays.

Week of Sunday, May 11 through Saturday, May 17:

This week crews will close the FDOT driveway on the south side of SR 60 west of North Broadway Avenue to reconstruct it. Expect nighttime/overnight lane closures from 7:30 p.m. to 6 a.m., Monday, May 12 through Friday, May 16.  Use caution and be prepared to merge.

Week of Sunday, May 11 through Saturday, May 17:

This week crews will continue milling and resurfacing both northbound and southbound US 17 and constructing new traffic separators from 7 a.m. until dark, Monday, May 12 through Friday, May 16. Expect daytime lane closures and be prepared to merge or stop.
