Expect daily lane closures on the inside and outside lane for sod shoulder treatment and work on the median opening as crews prepare to pave the final layer of asphalt on the left-turn-only lanes and in the median.   Use caution and be prepared to merge.

This week crews will be working at the Kathleen Road Ramps.

Expect westbound I-4 on-ramp closure at Kathleen Road (Exit 31) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday for removal of materials. Motorists wanting to enter I-4 westbound should continue northbound on Kathleen Road past the closed ramp. Turn east on Griffin Road to U.S. 98, head north on U.S. 98 and follow it to the I-4 westbound on-ramp at U.S. 98 (Exit 32)

Use caution and add time to your schedule to reach your destination.

• Expect nighttime/overnight lane closures throughout the project (weather permitting) both north and southbound while crews are working on punch list items and paving, weather permitting. Use caution and be prepared to merge.
• I-4 ramp closures are possible during nighttime/overnight paving operations. Use caution and follow the posted detours.
• Expect daytime lane closures north of I-4 while crews work on signals. Use caution and be prepared to merge.

This week crews will continue drainage improvements at the Beverage Castle driveway and near Coral Way.

• The Beverage Castle driveway on Combee Road will be closed so crews can continue working on the new drainage pipe crossing. Use the entrance on South Eastside Drive.
• Watch for lane closures at night/overnight with flaggers directing traffic on South Eastside Drive as crews pave at the intersection.
• Expect lane closures on Combee Road at night with flaggers directing traffic and possible shoulder closures during the day. Use caution and be prepared to stop.

Utility crews may be work on relocations near the intersection. Use caution and watch for workers close to the road.

This week workers will continue installing new water mains along the east side of Lakeland Hills Boulevard during the day. Additionally, nighttime utility crews will be working on installing new 12” water main crossings under the Lakeland Hills Boulevard travel lanes utilizing lane closures with flagging operations. Concrete crews are pouring curb and gutter and driveways along the east side of Lakeland Hills Boulevard.

• Expect nighttime/overnight lane closures with flaggers directing traffic on Lakeland Hills Boulevard through 6:30 a.m. nightly. Use caution and be prepared to stop.
• Gilmore Avenue remains closed from Parkview Place to Julius T. Horney Drive through late January. The closure is necessary as crews install curb along Gilmore Avenue. Follow posted detour signs to navigate around the closure.
• Watch for side street closures along the east side of Lakeland Hills Boulevard as crews work to install new storm drains and water lines. Any side street closures will utilize the adjacent side streets to route traffic east towards Gilmore Avenue to the respective closed street.
• Traffic will remain in one lane in each direction for most of the duration of construction. Use caution, be prepared to merge or stop, and plan for delays.
• The speed limit has been reduced to 35 mph during construction.

There are no scheduled lane closures this week.

The contractor may be paving at night/overnight Sunday through Friday nights, depending on weather. Watch for lane closures and be prepared to merge or stop.

This week crews will be installing temporary traffic detection at the signalized intersections and will begin paving at night/overnight weather permitting, Monday through Thursday nights. Use caution, watch for lane closures and be prepared to merge.

This week the contractor will begin repairing sidewalks and making them ADA compliant. Expect sidewalk closures with temporary pedestrian detours. Use caution and watch for workers close to the road. Nighttime/overnight paving is possible Monday night, February 9 and Tuesday night, February 10, weather permitting. Watch for nighttime/overnight lane closures and be prepared to merge or stop.

Expect nighttime/overnight lane closures Sunday through Thursday nights as crews continue milling and resurfacing, weather permitting. Use caution and be prepared to merge.

• Expect daytime lane closures both north and southbound from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday, February 9 through Friday, February 13 as crews work on punch list items and guardrail.
• Use caution and be prepared to merge.

There are no scheduled lane closures but use caution and watch for workers close to the road.
