The FDOT installed sidewalk, curb and gutter and improved drainage along the east side of Lee Jackson Highway (12th Street) from the Lily Avenue bridge to Baker Avenue in Haines City, Florida.

As part of the project, a new crosswalk was added at the intersection of Lily Avenue, North 12th Street, Stuart Avenue and Lee Jackson Highway. For pedestrian safety at the new crosswalk, a stop sign has been installed at the intersection. The stop sign converted the intersection from a three-way stop to a four way stop with Lily Avenue, North 12th Street, East Stuart Avenue and Lee Jackson Highway.

Motorists heading east on Lily Avenue should now be prepared to stop at the new stop sign before proceeding through the intersection.
