SR 31 at CR 74 (Bermont Road) Roundabout Construction: Construction project: These improvements will include constructing a roundabout, milling and resurfacing, upgrading drainage, installing new lighting, adding landscaping, signing, and pavement marking. Throughout construction, motorists should expect intermittent daytime and nighttime/overnight lane closures.

• Motorists should expect to see crews performing work during the daytime hours, beginning Monday, January 12, through Friday, January 16, between the hours of 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

• Crews will be installing permanent lighting, constructing driveways, installing permanent drainage, and removing temporary drainage.

• The following activities are subject to change based on weather conditions and unforeseen underground conditions.

SR 35 (US 17) from Tamiami Trail (US 41) to Bermont Road: Construction project - The contractor is continuing to mill and repave SR 35 (US 17) from the Florida Street Bridge to Bermont Road.

• Nightly lane closures will be needed for widening at Bermont and for driveways.

• Nightly lane closures will be needed for milling and paving on Marion.

• A long-term right lane closure will be set up on Marion to address the dip near Klispie Drive.

• Daytime lane closures for conduit boring. 

• Daytime shoulder closures for grading in the median and outside for sod and laying sod.

• A bump condition exists on the roadway just east of Marlympia on S.R. 35 (U.S. 17) that is expected to remain until the spring of 2026.
