Other project features include guardrail, drainage, signing, pavement markings, and Intelligent Transportation Systems on SR 35 (US 17) from SR 45 (US 41) to Bermont Road in Charlotte County.

SR 35 (US 17) from Tamiami Trail (US 41) to Bermont Road: Construction project - The contractor is continuing to mill and repave SR 35 (US 17) from the Florida Street Bridge to Bermont Road. Motorists should expect nighttime/overnight double-lane closures.
- Motorists should expect the left lane to be closed on SR 35 (US 17) for median work between the I-75 Interchange and Piper Road/Regent Road.
- Motorists should expect shoulder and single lane closures on SR 35 (US 17) eastbound and westbound for curb installation, asphalt placement, and widening areas.
- The following activities are subject to change based on weather conditions and unforeseen underground conditions. Expected completion is Summer 2026.
