SR 35 (US 17) from Tamiami Trail (US 41) to Bermont Road: Construction project - The contractor is continuing to mill and repave SR 35 (US 17) from the Florida Street Bridge to Bermont Road.
Daytime shoulder closures for grading in the median and outside for placement of sod and signs.
Nighttime closures for overhead signalization and signage.
There is proposed signal work at the corner of Olympia Avenue and Cooper Street that will take place on the weekend of February 21. The intersection will be inoperative until work is complete. Movements will be restricted, and police traffic directors will be in place.
The activities above are subject to change due to weather or unforeseen circumstances. Expected completion is fall 2026.
