The westbound I-4 entrance ramp from Kathleen Road (Exit #31) will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday, October 6 through Friday, October 10, 2025.
Northbound motorists on Kathleen Road will be detoured to the eastbound I-4 on ramp where they will travel eastbound to the next exit at US 98 (Exit #32) and re-enter the interstate westbound.
Southbound motorists on Kathleen Road will be detoured east on Griffin Road to US 98, turn left (north) on US 98 to enter I-4 westbound at US 98 (Exit #32).

- Expect possible lane closures on the eastbound and westbound I-4 exit ramps with northbound and southbound detours at night/overnight for pipe work.
- During eastbound off-ramp lane closures, motorists headed north on US 98 will be detoured south on US 98 to Griffin Road to Pyramid Parkway to head north. Currently scheduled for Monday night, October 6 and Tuesday night, October 7.
- During westbound off-ramp lane closures, motorists heading southbound will be detoured north on US 98 to make a U-turn at Crevasse Street to head south. Use caution and follow posted detours. Currently scheduled for Wednesday night, October 8 and Thursday night, October 9.
- Daytime crews will be working behind barrier wall grading for concrete curb and sidewalks. Watch for trucks entering and exiting the work zone.
- Lighting crews are installing light pole bases with possible lane closures north of I-4 during the day. Use caution and be prepared to merge.
- Pedestrians should follow the sidewalk detours and temporary crosswalks to safely travel throughout the project.
