BARTOW, Fla.: Two of three northbound lanes on US 27, between North Boulevard/Holly Hill Cutoff Road and Sanders Road/CR 547 (Davenport Boulevard) in Haines City, remain closed due to a broken drainage pipe beneath the roadway. Additional assessment and repairs are underway.

Currently, only one northbound lane is open so motorists should seek alternate routes and expect significant delays when traveling in the area. The entire roadway will be reopened as soon as it is safe to do so.

The closure is within a current construction zone however, the broken drainage pipe is not part of the construction project.
