Fort Lauderdale, Fla. – Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) rest areas on I-75/Alligator Alley are temporarily offering limited service due to a disruption in water service.

Crews are investigating a possible break in an electrical line that powers the water pumps. An electrical generator is enroute to assist while crews expedite the repairs. The repairs are likely to affect motorists traveling across I-75/Alligator Alley this weekend. Meanwhile, portalets have been deployed to the rest area until repairs are completed.
