Lee Jackson Highway Reduced to One Lane with Flaggers
BARTOW, Fla. – Lee Jackson Highway/North 12th Avenue (from Summit Avenue to Citrus Avenue) is reduced to one lane due to damage caused by heavy rain. Flaggers are directing traffic tonight and into tomorrow.
Potholes developed, due to heavy rain, in the temporary asphalt used to shift traffic away from an ongoing sidewalk project.
Repair crews will be on-site Tuesday, May 13, to restore the roadway and reopen both lanes.
Motorists: Use caution and be prepared to stop. Expect delays in the area.
