LEE COUNTY, Fla. – The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is performing maintenance on the Wilson Pigott Bridge. To safely complete this work, traffic will be reduced to a single lane with flagging operations in place to guide drivers through the work zone. Motorists should expect delays and are urged to use caution when approaching the area.

Work is expected to start at 1 p.m. and last throughout the day.

Drivers are encouraged to seek alternate routes if possible and follow all posted signage and flagging operations.
