POLK COUNTY, Fla. – Due to an earlier crash on I-4, an asphalt delivery truck was delayed in traffic congestion. This delay impacted the scheduled delivery of materials to the road improvement project on US 98 North near the I-4 interchange.

As a result, work originally planned for overnight hours is now being completed during the early morning. This change was both unforeseen and unavoidable.

Motorists traveling through the area are advised to allow additional travel time, exercise caution, and consider alternate routes when possible.
