SARASOTA, Fla. – The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will conduct overnight lane closures with detours at the intersection of Clark Road and Honore Avenue from 7:30 p.m. on August 14 to 6 a.m. on August 15. Crews will be assisted by law enforcement to manage traffic flow while the intersection is temporarily closed for signal replacement and installation. Please slow down, follow posted detours and watch for workers in the project area.

All traffic on Clark Road, both west and eastbound, will be detoured onto Honore Avenue, where motorists can make a U-turn to navigate around the closed intersection. Traffic on Honore Avenue, both north and southbound,  will be detoured to make a U-turn on Clark Road to navigate around the closed intersection. Traffic will return to normal patterns after 6 a.m. on August 15.

Travelers may prefer to take an alternate route or allow for additional travel time during this operation.
