LEE COUNTY, Fla. – The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will conduct bridge repairs on the Wilson Pigott Drawbridge (SR 31) on Thursday, October 2, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Crews will be performing bridge grid deck repairs in the southbound lane. A flagging operation will guide motorists through the work zone, and all lanes are expected to reopen before the afternoon rush hour.

Motorists should use caution when traveling through the area, allow extra travel time, and check FL511.com for real-time traffic updates.

This repair schedule is designed to reduce rush hour impacts while maintaining safety as FDOT’s top priority.
