BARTOW, Fla. – SR 659 (Combee Road) south of Carol Way (about 3,000 feet south of US 92) is being reduced to one lane with flaggers and/or law enforcement directing traffic.  The unplanned lane closure is due to a damaged drainage pipe beneath the roadway. Crews are enroute to make repairs and reopen the roadway as soon as possible, but motorists should expect the lane closures to remain in place through peak time traffic. Use caution and avoid the area if possible.
