Public Meeting for the US 27 at Sebring Parkway Intersection Safety Project in Highlands County
SEBRING, Fla. – The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District One, will conduct two public meetings for the US 27 at Sebring Parkway Intersection Safety Project in Highlands County. The proposed modifications are intended to improve safety and traffic operations by enhancing pedestrian features and reducing conflict points between vehicles.
In-Person Public Meeting
Thursday, November 13, 2025, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Jack Stroup Civic Center at 355 W. Center Ave., Sebring, FL, 33870. The meeting will start at 4:30 p.m., in an open-house format where attendees may view project exhibits, speak with FDOT staff and the project team, ask questions, and provide comments.
Virtual Public Meeting
Wednesday, November 19, 2025, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. The GoToWebinar registration link for this meeting is: https://attendee.gotowebinar.com/register/184609552090767197. The virtual meeting will include a digital presentation from 5:00 to 5:15 p.m., covering the same information available at the in-person meeting. An opportunity for questions and comments will follow the presentation from 5:15 to 6:00 p.m.
Both in-person and virtual attendees will have the opportunity to provide comments on the proposed modifications.
