SEBRING, Fla. – The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District One is advising motorists of a fatal incident this afternoon on U.S. 98 both east and westbound between Haywood Taylor Boulevard and Thunder Road, with a complete road closure. Please be aware of police and flaggers in the area and use caution. Law enforcement is on scene, and clearing of affected vehicles is continuing.

Motorists are urged to avoid the area if at all possible, and to take alternate routes if travel is necessary.
