SARASOTA, Fla. – The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) crews have temporarily closed a section of the eastbound outside lane of Clark Road just west of Gantt Road due to an asphalt failure. Crews are on-site maintaining traffic flow while the repairs are being conducted. Please use caution in and around the work area.

The lane will reopen as soon as the repair is completed. Travelers may prefer to take an alternate route or allow for additional travel time during the repair.
