SARASOTA, Fla. – The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) crews have temporarily closed a section of the eastbound outside lane of Clark Road just west of Gantt Road due to an asphalt failure prompted by an underground pipe leak. Crews are on-site while the repairs are being conducted. Please use caution in and around the work area.

Depending on the delivery of materials, the repair will be completed by Monday, November 24 or sooner if possible. Travelers may prefer to take an alternate route or allow for additional travel time during the repair.
