U.S. 27 from Industrial Canal to W Sagamore Avenue Design Project Public Information Meeting on Tuesday, December 2 and Wednesday, December 3, 2025

CLEWISTON, Fla. – The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is hosting a public information meeting for the U.S. 27 from Industrial Canal to W Sagamore Avenue Design Project in Hendry County, Financial Project Identification (FPID) 447287-1.
You can participate in the public information meeting in-person or live online. The same materials will be displayed at both the in-person and online events, and will also be posted on the project website.
IN-PERSON OPTION: The in-person public information meeting will be held on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at the City of Clewiston John Boy Auditorium, 1200 S WC Owen Avenue, Clewiston, Florida 33440. The public information meeting begins at 5:30 p.m. with an open-house followed by a formal presentation at 6 p.m.
LIVE ONLINE OPTION: Attend virtually on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 starting at 5:30 p.m. This event will include a presentation and a live question-and-answer component with the project team. Register in advance by visiting https://bit.ly/US27DesignPublicInformationMeeting or on the project website. Once registered, attendees will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting online.
The proposed improvements include resurfacing the roadway, median modifications, and drainage improvements. The public information meeting is being held to present information about the proposed improvements and provide the public an opportunity to offer feedback on the project.

FDOT is sending notices to property owners, business owners, interested persons and organizations within 300-feet of the project to provide the opportunity to give comments to FDOT regarding this project.
