Paving and Intermittent Traffic Shifts Expected on Little Pine Island Bridge During Paving Operation
MATLACHA, Fla. – Beginning Monday, January 5, through Tuesday, January 6, crews will be on site paving both lanes of the Little Pine Island Bridge.
Motorists should expect intermittent traffic shifts and potential congestion during paving operations. While no lane closures are anticipated, flaggers will be present as needed to direct traffic.
The bridge reconstruction will deliver long-term improvements to the transportation infrastructure serving Pine Island and surrounding communities.
Motorists are asked to continue exercising caution and to reduce speeds while traveling through the work zone. Please note that construction schedules remain subject to change due to weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances.
