ARCADIA, Fla. – The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) invites the community to participate in a Corridor Alternatives Public Meeting to discuss and provide feedback on the Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study from S.R. 70 to S.R. 66. The same materials will be provided at each meeting. You can choose the meeting format that is most convenient for you. In-person meetings will be held at the following locations and times: Thursday, January 15, 2026, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Turner Agri-Civic Center, Exhibit Hall, 2250 NE Roan St, Arcadia, FL 34266; Thursday, January 22, 2026, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Hardee Agri-Civic Center, 515 Civic Center Drive, Wauchula, FL 33873; and Thursday, January 29, 2026, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Town of Lake Placid Government Center, Community Room, 1069 U.S. 27 North, Lake Placid, FL 33852. The purpose of this meeting is to provide you with an opportunity to review the project corridor alternatives being considered, ask questions, and provide feedback.
