NAPLES, Fla. – During the week of Monday, Jan. 12, motorists should anticipate multiple closures at Collier Boulevard or State Road (S.R.) / County Road (C.R.) 951 and S.R. 84/Davis Boulevard/Beck Boulevard.  Please use alternate routes if possible.  There will be heavy construction activity and law enforcement presence.

On Thursday night, Jan. 15, during the nighttime/overnight hours of 9:30 p.m. to 6 a.m., BECK BOULEVARD WILL BE CLOSED at Collier Boulevard (S.R./C.R. 951) for crews to install overhead railing and bridge forms. To accommodate access during these closures, a temporary roadway connection has been constructed just north of Beck Boulevard at Tollhouse Drive. There will be no direct southbound or westbound traffic through the intersection during these closures.

  • Motorists traveling westbound on Beck Boulevard will turn north on Tollgate Boulevard to west on Tollhouse Drive to travel north on Collier Boulevard. To access Beck Boulevard from Collier Boulevard northbound motorists must turn right on the temporary Tollhouse Drive extension to south on Tollgate Boulevard.

Through Jan. 16 during nighttime/overnight hours, motorists should expect S.R. 84/Davis Boulevard will be closed from Market Street to C.R. 951/Collier Boulevard. Motorists will need to use Market Street and Business Circle S. for travel. Also, the southbound I-75 on-ramp from northbound Collier Boulevard (S.R. 951) will be closed. During this time, motorists will be able to use southbound Collier Boulevard to access the ramp by continuing northbound on Collier Boulevard to the intersection of Magnolia Pond Road / City Gate Boulevard. From there, drivers can make a U-turn to proceed south on Collier Boulevard and access the southbound I-75 on-ramp immediately after the I-75 overpass via a left turn.

This work is a part of FDOT’s project to reconstruct the I-75 at S.R. 951 (exit 101) interchange with the goal to improve highway operations, safety, and regional mobility. Work includes building elevated lanes over the S.R. 84/Davis Boulevard/Beck Boulevard intersection at S.R./C.R.951/Collier Boulevard with southbound I-75 on- and off-ramp connections and a northbound I-75 on-ramp connection at S.R. 951.
