MYAKKA CITY, Fla. – The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will begin alternating lane closures on State Road (S.R.) 70 from Verna Bethany Road to 253rd Street East as crews conduct tree trimming, ditch and road maintenance activities. Work will start on Wednesday, January 14, at 8 a.m. and continue until 4 p.m. through Thursday, January 29. 

Traffic will be maintained via a flagging operation throughout the project. Please use caution and look for workers and construction vehicles in the work area.
