MATLACHA, Fla. – Beginning Wednesday, March 4, at 9 a.m., motorists should expect intermittent traffic stops along the Little Pine Island Bridge as crews conduct concrete operations at various points on the structure.

Heavy machinery will be moving throughout the bridge during this work. Flaggers will be on site to safely direct traffic through the area and coordinate temporary stops as equipment crosses the roadway.

Drivers should anticipate delays and congestion and are urged to use caution while traveling through the work zone. Construction schedules are subject to change due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
