MANATEE COUNTY, Fla. – Contractors for the Florida Department of Transportation will work to remove the existing median on S.R. 70, east of Lorraine Road. This work will take place during the day beginning tomorrow, March 4, and continue through the remainder of the week. During this time, flaggers will control traffic in both the eastbound and westbound directions on S.R. 70.

Please use caution when traveling through the intersection and remain alert for workers who may be flagging and directing traffic.
