FORT MYERS, Fla. – The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will have temporary lane closures on State Road 31 at the Wilson Pigott Drawbridge in Lee County on Friday, March 6 from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.

During this time, the contractor will perform repairs to the bridge deck top. The operation will require a flagging operation with alternating northbound and southbound traffic through the work zone, and motorists should expect intermittent delays.

Please use caution and watch for workers and equipment in or near the project limits. Travelers in this area may want to allow for additional travel time.
