PALMETTO, Fla. –The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will have temporary overnight ramp closures on U.S. 41 at U.S. 19 from March 17-18, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. as crews will conduct milling and paving operations, weather permitting. Please be aware of crews and equipment near the travel lanes during construction. Motorists are urged to use caution while workers are in the area.

  • Tuesday, March 17: The U.S. 41 northbound to U.S. 41 southbound ramp will be closed. Motorists will be detoured to continue northbound, turning left onto Experimental Farm Road, then motorists can turn left onto southbound U.S. 19 to continue to southbound U.S. 41.
  • Wednesday, March 18: The U.S. 41 southbound ramp to northbound U.S. 19 will be closed. Motorists will be detoured to continue southbound past the ramp via the loop, and will follow the loop to head back northbound, passing south of the ramp onto U.S. 19 northbound.

Travelers may prefer to take an alternate route or allow for additional travel time during the construction.
