All Lanes Reopened at U.S. 17 and S.R. 540 (Cypress Gardens Boulevard)

WINTER HAVEN, Fla. – The intersection of U.S. 17 and S.R. 540 (Cypress Gardens Boulevard) in Winter Haven is now fully reopened to traffic. All lanes are open following overnight repairs to address a roadway depression that previously required closure of the intersection.

Maintenance crews completed temporary repairs to safely restore traffic flow. The issue was caused by a separation in a 60-inch drainage pipe located approximately 12 feet beneath the roadway surface.

Motorists may resume normal travel through the intersection; however, drivers are encouraged to remain alert for crews who may return to the area for additional work.

Permanent repairs to the drainage pipe and roadway will be scheduled once a comprehensive repair plan is finalized.
