COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. – Northbound Interstate 75 is currently closed near Exit 80 in Collier County, causing significant traffic disruptions in the area.

Motorists traveling northbound are advised to exit I-75 and follow the designated detour route: take State Road 29 south, continue west on U.S. 41, turn north on CR 951 (Collier Blvd.) and then rejoin I-75.

Drivers should plan for substantial delays. The detour spans approximately 51.4 miles and is expected to take over an hour to complete under current conditions. Traffic congestion has already begun to build, and travel times may increase further.

Authorities strongly encourage motorists to allow extra travel time, remain patient, and exercise caution while navigating the detour route.
