Lane Closures on S.R. 78 from Buckhead Road NE to Access Road

GLADES COUNTY, Fla.  – The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) advises motorists that overhead pole hardening operations will take place along State Road (S.R.) 78 from Buckhead Road NE to Access Road.

Work will occur daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday, April 20, through Friday, April 24, 2026. Intermittent lane closures will be in place during these operations.

Motorists are encouraged to add additional travel time, follow posted signage, and use caution while traveling through the work zone.

Work is expected to continue through May 29, 2026.
