Temporary Road Closure on SR 70 at C.R. 675 Intersection

MANATEE, Fla. – Contractors for the Florida Department of Transportation will temporarily close the intersection at C.R. 675 and S.R. 70 beginning Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at 10 a.m.

This closure is necessary to begin construction on the north side of the roundabout and is expected to remain in place for approximately 45 days, weather permitting. During this time, only emergency vehicles will be permitted through the intersection. No traffic entering or exiting is allowed while the existing roadway will be under construction.

Motorists are encouraged to use caution in the area, follow posted detour routes, and allow for additional travel time. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as improvements are made to enhance safety and traffic flow.
