BRADENTON, Fla. –The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will have temporary lane closures on State Road (S.R.) 64/Manatee Avenue East at 22nd Street East during day and nighttime hours May 5-8, weather permitting.

Crews will install pavement markings on Monday, May 5, from 8 p.m. to 12 a.m., with intermittent single-and double-lane closures on both east and westbound S.R. 64/Manatee Avenue East near the 22nd Street intersection.

Crews will install ground-level signage on S.R. 64/Manatee Avenue East at 22nd Street East on May 7 and 8 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. with intermittent, alternating lane closures on both east and westbound S.R. 64/Manatee Avenue East.

Please be aware of message boards, flaggers and cones in or near the travel lanes while work is underway. Motorists are urged to use caution while workers are in the area.

Travelers may prefer to take an alternate route or allow for additional travel time while work is being conducted.
