Overnight Flagging Operation on S.R. 29 over the Caloosahatchee River from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. for Bridge Maintenance
HENDRY COUNTY, Fla. – The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District One will begin overnight lane closures on the State Road 29 LaBelle drawbridge over the Caloosahatchee River beginning on Monday, June 15, at 9 p.m. This work will continue through 6:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 16. One lane will be open at all times as crews conduct maintenance and repairs to the underside of the bridge deck.
Motorists can expect flaggers to be present during this overnight work. Pedestrians and bicyclists will be escorted through the work zone as needed.
Motorists may wish to make alternate plans or allow for extra travel time during the bridge deck maintenance and repair.
