Westbound S.R. 60 Closed between Bartow and Mulberry

NEW INFORMATION: All S.R. 60 westbound lanes are now open and repairs to the asphalt are complete as of 11:15 a.m.

BARTOW, Fla. – Westbound State Road 60 is currently closed west of Mosaic, between Bartow and Mulberry, following an earlier crash involving an overturned truck and trailer.

The closure will remain in place while crews work to remove the truck's load from the roadway and is expected to remain closed until approximately 10:30 a.m. Motorists traveling through the area are encouraged to seek alternate routes and should expect delays until the roadway can be safely reopened.

Once the incident has been cleared, drivers should continue to use caution as intermittent single-lane closures are anticipated. These closures will allow FDOT maintenance crews to repair damage caused by the crash and cleanup operations. Travelers are advised to remain alert, follow posted traffic control devices, and be prepared to merge when approaching the work zone.
