Temporary Overnight Lane Closures for Railroad Crossing Maintenance in Manatee County through September 24
MANATEE COUNTY, Fla. – The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will have temporary overnight single-lane closures at three railroad crossings in Manatee County while crews conduct maintenance upgrades to the railroad dynamic envelope (RDE) markings. Upgrades will require intermittent closure of one lane at a time at the following crossings from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. through September 24, weather permitting:
- Palmetto: U.S. 41/State Road (S.R.) 45, just south of I-275
- Parrish: U.S. 301, just north of State Road (S.R.) 62/Erie Road
- Palmetto: 10th Street West at 5th Avenue West
Travelers may prefer to take an alternate route or allow for additional travel time. Please use caution in the area.
